Compact Dual Line DIMM Slot Feeder for Automated 1-1932000-1 DIMM Slots Handling

Description:The Compact Dual Line DIMM Slot Feeder is specialized for automated 1-1932000-1 DIMM Slot supply before PCB insertion. During operation, individual sockets are separated from the prepared material supply and directed through two independent feeding channels. Mechanical guides regulate component movement and bring each connector toward a defined output position for the insertion mechanism. This dual-route structure allows the feeder to handle DIMM socket delivery through two parallel material paths without requiring a large installation area. It is well suited to server, storage computing and GPU motherboard production where repeated DIMM socket placement is required.

Introduction

The Compact Dual Line DIMM Slot Feeder can be applied to motherboard production where 1-1932000-1 DIMM Slots need to reach an automated insertion station in a controlled sequence. At the material preparation stage, operators place the required quantity of 1-1932000-1 sockets into the feeder according to the production order. The machine receives the sockets from the loading section and transfers them toward two separate feeding routes. Instead of manually positioning every connector before insertion, the feeder takes responsibility for moving the DIMM Slots from the supply area toward the next processing point. This arrangement creates a dedicated material path between socket storage and PCB insertion.

The transport process starts with socket separation and continues through guided movement along each feeding route. As individual 1-1932000-1 DIMM Slots enter the channels, the mechanical structure controls their travel direction and spacing. The sockets are then advanced toward the presentation area one by one. When a connector reaches the required position, the feeder holds it ready for the insertion mechanism. The downstream machine can collect the presented socket, move it above the assigned DIMM footprint and press its terminals into the corresponding PCB holes. For motherboards containing several DIMM positions, successive sockets can be delivered according to the programmed insertion order.

After all required DIMM Slots have been inserted, the PCB moves to the through-hole soldering process. Inspection equipment can then check socket seating and soldered connections before electrical testing. The same feeder concept can be used in server motherboard factories, workstation PCB plants, industrial computer production, storage equipment assembly and network hardware manufacturing. It is also applicable to embedded computing boards that require DIMM sockets but have limited equipment space around the insertion section. The dual feeding architecture provides two material routes while keeping the machine footprint compact.

Advanced Dual Route DIMM Socket Handling with Compact Dual Line DIMM Slot Feeder for Server Motherboards

The Compact Dual Line DIMM Slot Feeder can function as a specialized DIMM socket preparation unit within a server electronics factory. For a motherboard requiring 1-1932000-1 DIMM Slots, the production operator first prepares the required quantity based on the current board model. The sockets are loaded into the feeder supply area and transferred toward two internal routes. From this point, the feeder controls the material movement before the connectors reach the insertion equipment. The process is useful for server production cells where DIMM sockets represent a recurring THT component and need a dedicated supply method.

The detailed sequence starts when an individual 1-1932000-1 socket enters the feeding mechanism. The socket is separated from adjacent components and directed through the assigned route. Mechanical guides maintain its movement through the channel until it reaches the output position. The insertion machine then receives the presented connector and places it over the specified DIMM location on the PCB. Its terminals are driven through the prepared through-holes, completing the mechanical insertion stage. If the server board contains several DIMM positions, the feeder continues preparing subsequent sockets while the insertion system follows the programmed board sequence. Once all required connectors are installed, the motherboard moves toward through-hole soldering and inspection.

Different server production lines can use this arrangement according to their board architecture. Suitable applications include 1U and 2U server motherboard lines, enterprise storage server production, GPU server PCB assembly, AI computing board manufacturing and network server equipment lines. It can also be applied to server controller boards and industrial computing platforms that require DIMM-based memory interfaces. Within these production cells, the feeder can operate alongside THT insertion, soldering, AOI, electrical test and board-transfer equipment. Its dual-route structure provides a dedicated DIMM socket handling stage while its compact format helps conserve workspace around the server motherboard assembly area.
